For his latest, and second solo show at Mixed Greens, New York artist Rob Nadeau has created a playground of organized chaos. Aggressive brush strokes, bold splotches of color, stenciled patterns and desperately scrawled words are layered and confined within the looming boundaries of his large-scale canvases. Though Nadeau's paintings are decidedly abstract, they still contain fragments of reality that might take a few moments to wrap your head around.
